TTi Global Sponsors the First Annual "Ride Today for Women of Tomorrow"

TTi Global is the venue sponsor for the “Ride Today for Women of Tomorrow” motorcycle/poker run charity ride scheduled for Saturday, June 25th and will benefit the Metro Detroit Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program.

Rochester Hills - The Metro Detroit Women of Tomorrow fundraising event will start at TTi Global headquarters in Rochester Hills and ends at Ray C’s Harley in Lapeer. Groups may depart at four different start times: 10:30, 11, 11:30 and 12:00 noon. All registrants will be treated to a BBQ and live music. The BBQ and live band at Ray C’s goes till 4pm.

“I would like to encourage everyone who enjoys riding to come out to this event,” states Blaker. “The Women of Tomorrow organization does amazing work to transform the lives of at-risk young women. If you love to ride and want to make a difference in the community, this is the event to attend.”

The Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program boasts a 95% national high school graduation rate and has awarded nearly 5 million dollars in college scholarships to date. The Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship program offers many activities aimed at inspiring, motivating and empowering at-risk young women to be successful in all aspects of their lives, including finishing high school and going to college. Mentors are recruited from the area’s most accomplished professional women who work in small group settings to mentor the girls in their schools.

There are two ways to participate in “Ride Today for Women of Tomorrow” event:

As a group: Any person/group/club/business or organization can sponsor a $500 scholarship for one of the girls and can invite and bring as many riders as they would like (or the group can all pitch in to collect the $500). The name that the group specifies will be given recognition throughout the year and on the Women of Tomorrow website as well as at both the start and finish of this ride.

As Individuals: The entry fee is $25 per bike (doesn’t matter if you have a passenger – no fee for second person).

To register or to sponsor a scholarship; call Jill Harris at the Detroit office of Women of Tomorrow 248-430-4095 or email RideToday@WomenofTomorrow.org.
