TTi Global President/CEO Lori Blaker Addresses the Graduating Class of GM-Advanced Training Program in the Philippines

Lori Blaker, President/CEO of TTi Global, was the keynote speaker and guest of honor on Thursday, August 7th at the GM Advanced Technician Training Center’s 2014 Graduation Ceremony.

Addressing a group of graduating students, Lori Blaker, President /CEO of TTi Global, gave an inspirational speech on the power of driving change. The students were assembled in Lourdes High School Complex in Angat, Bulacan. Upon graduation, the students were now qualified to work on General Motor's vehicles after having completed a 14-week training program to become advanced technicians.

All of the students had successfully demonstrated their capabilities by attending the finest technical training facility in the Philippines and were preparing for a two-year work contract at General Motors dealerships in the Middle East. The GM Advanced Technician Training Center-Philippines is an automotive training facility duly registered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It is sponsored by GM Middle East Operations in Dubai and provides free scholarships to qualified automotive technicians.

Lori Blaker had been invited to give the commencement speech as a result of the work that TTi Global had performed through TESDA. Blaker remarked, "We are honored to assist TESDA in reaching its goals of developing the Philippine’s skilled workforce. Since meeting with Deputy Director General Teodoro Pascua, we have been working closely with TESDA through the Partnerships and Linkages Office headed by Executive Director Marty Hernandez. We look forward to formalizing the partnership between TTi Global Philippines, Inc. and TESDA for automotive skills development.

At a separate event, Lori Blaker donated on behalf of TTi Global a fully paid scholarship for a financially disadvantaged student to attend the church-run Don Bosco Technical School in Makati, Manila Philippines.
